I've only showered a chameleon if i suspected dehydration... not an every day/every week occurrence...
maybe every couple months wouldnt hurt..tap water isnt the best thing for them but a little wont hurt.. A long warm RO water misting session would be just as adequate..and a better option...
although i don't particularly appreciate the slur, that's not true at all.....

I have yet to have been bit by any of my chams, a few close calls and "nips" / "mouthing" but luckily that's it....I know one day "Synyster" my male sambava will get his chomp on.....his name is very fitting,..this is a day i'm not looking forward to.. :)wear gloves!

Thanks for your professional opinion Matt..good points and observations, ill take everything you've mentioned into consideration..as far as the water , i use a ro water source so i can pretty much cancel out the chlorine possibility. I think i am going to do away with the ficus all...
