I think the problem is a fundamental misunderstanding of how evolution works. People use this misunderstanding and turn it into "evidence" that evolution doesn't exist. Take this video for example.

Things like this blow my mind.
Seriously nice collection, seriously nice girlfriend, seriously how did you get a hot one to buy into it? It's like asking a girl from new jersey to go to a NASCAR race with me, they just look bewildered. But anyways, welcome and best of luck to you.
21...pages. Eyes went crossed but I made it! Evolution=testable theory. Creation argument= untestable hypothesis. How about the nylon eating bacteria? There's your proof for evolution. From what I've read it seems there is a fundamental detachment here, those that are satisified with answers to...
Everytime he says foggers it sounds like well, you know. You could probably use a hose fitting and have a gravity fed reservoir with as muc water as you want but I wouldn't put too much weight directly on that connection. Not sure if soda and hose is the same threads but with some Teflon you...
Yeah I'm definitely not advocating or recommending what I did by sticking the notes on cages. I could have gotten into some serious trouble. Writing a letter to your local paper, or even handing out literature to customers, or posting on a website or blog that focuses on local issues in your...
I used to stop by one in knoxville with a printed off note that I taped to every cage telling people the animals were sick and not to buy them. This wasn't petco but a similar chain. Just harass them as kindly as you can, tell any perspective buyers. I would hang out in the reptile section when...
I keep mine in a wooden and heated insulated box outside, similar to the bins they are kept in at pet stores, just with insulation and pipe warmer to make a radiator. Suprisingly few die offs, I keep it under a lean-to so it stays dry. I'll try to do a drawing of what I did. I built it a few...
The only thing I would consider other than yes you can go to LLL and it's way cheaper is the warranty Kammer offers with their set up, if that's worth it to you. Considering a male nosey be is no small investment. Good luck, make sure your set up is proper before purchasing and do tons of...
Why so much discrepancy in what large breeders bask their juvies and adults at and what I see here? I see high -mid 90s from the large reputable breeders and at least ten degrees cooler here. What for?
So I may have to keep him after all. I have moved him into a quarantine box, packed with things to climb on, proper temps and humidity it's just smaller so I can keep an eye on him. It's similar to what a member sells on the classifieds. Also, my cage and accessories should be here Thursday...
I have a ficus coming as well, but i will get one
Those wreaths. Never heard that idea. Should I bake it or just wash them? understand the issue with having highways but I honestly didn't think it would be a huge issue, at least Not for the five days i had to wait for delievery Of the cage...
Do you think I should move him into something smaller like a sterlite box to kind of make his cage smaller and so he has more things in close proximity to climb on? I had seen in the classifieds a guy sells sterlite boxes for babies, since he is still kind of a baby maybe he could hide easier...
No I've had five veileds before, I had a couple
Pet shop rescues that were too far gone. I never had health problems with the ones I bought from reputable breeders. And i successfully bred and hatched two clutches before selling them off and getting out of the hobby.I would have had more vines...
Wow ok I was also standing there watching him because he had his eye closed and he prolapsed. I wasnt able to get a pic and luckily it went back in, but something is seriously wrong. Not sure how I could have caused this, but I think something may have happened during shipping, is this a sign of...
The towel will still be holding a lot of moisture and may cause bacterial problems. How about a thick epoxy coating on the wood with a drain in the middle? You could buy a sweater box of equivalent size a cut the plastic out of it. Or use that really thick vinyl that comes in a roll.
Thanks. Yes a tube 5.0 is coming w the cage and some bendable vines and a ficus tree. What about him closing his eye? He is doing it again and chilling on a branch.
Ok when I took this pic his eye is opened, but when I walked into the room his eye was closed(right) and the other opened and when he noticed me he opened it then I took this pic. When I first got him, I noticed him doing the "inflatable eye" routine and I didn't think much of it. Now he's...
Sorry it takes a min to do this from my phone I have no desktop or laptop.
Update: I was able to get him to drink using a straw as a pipette. He may perk up now. He has had the drip since day one but maybe he just didn't notice. I estimate he drank 1-2mL of water or half a straw.I had taken him...
I haven't supplemented anything yet, they come in the mail Friday. Yes my cage is custom and it's going to just be an outdoor cage when I get my new one Friday. His feces is two thirds brown exoskeleton and one third white urete.
