Yea thats it i just take of the plastic thing that covers the light. Sit it on top of the cage and put a piece of aluminum foil to reflect it down. It works great. Best of all. if it goes out walmart will swap it everytime. ;)

Got some more info on the fixture. Its made by lights of america and its called a 18 inch undercabinet portable light. it sales for 7.68 at walmart! It comes in like a yellow package! Hope this helps!

Walmart has a cheap $7 fixture i use. It says it is for under a cabinet and comes with like a plastic shield. I leave the plastic off and just use aluminum foil to reflect the light into the cage. I use a 18" too by the way! You can also get a fish aquarium hood from a store.
