    Trioceros day out

Thanks Hoj, These guys are a 2.1 CH trio I've raised since they were 3 months old. They are just shy of a year old. I've been searching for unrelated chams to pair them up so I don't have one for sale. If I hear of any I will let you know....

You're right. It doesn't stop her at all. She's a great girl. She doesn't even remember she had one.

Thanks, her name was Roxanne . Her tail was broken when I got her as a baby & had to be removed. Her new name is Roxy for short.

Baby Monkey tails are here!!! Thx Chad!!

Only a showoff who thinks he has never made a mistake as a chameleon keeper would reply to my situation with such sarcasm. I know he won't survive the weather & did not let him out intentionally.By the way, did you kill your brad.transvaal. with a fungus infection that you knew they were prone...

Baby Monkey tails are here!!! Thx Chad!!

He's a beautiful animal! I raised his brother & looked just like him up until 2 weeks ago when he escaped from an outdoor enclosure. I'm still kicking myself over it. You have my vote also for the contest.

    Incubator

Reading the description of this incubator,it says to chameleon breeders that by controlling the temperature, you can influence the clutch to be males or females. I've never heard of this.

how do you Sex baby t.j.jacksonii?

It was difficult to tell them apart when they are very young. When I raised mine, the females horns developed more slowly than the males, thinner & shorter even into adulthood. I kept a clutch of 7 together for 6 months before seperating them & at that point I was certain that I had 3.4 The...

How long has it been since you bought feeders?

Hey Jared, your chams are lucky having all that variety. Around here there are too many pesticides around to safely collect feeders. I have to buy them all year long

    mr-148 wine cooler/incubator..

Its the same product with a different name. I used one successfully until it stopped working halfway through the 3rd clutch. Its discontinued because a lot of people had the same problems. Keep an eye on it when you use it.

Photos of the B. transvaalense Chameleons

Looks male to me by the scalation & the tail base. Coloring varies widely so just because of the light colors, doesn't mean female. I contacted Benny when I had doubts about mine & he confirmed that it was a male. Try shooting him a PM, he won't mind confirming gender for you..

    K. Matschiei V.S. T. Quadricornis

Thanks Chad , They are going through a growth spurt & putting on some size now. They should catch up to the Quads & outgrow them eventually. Its interesting to compare their development side by side. As soon as I can make some room here I'm going to PM you for another. I'm going to seperate...
