This summer I am planning on building my own enclosure for my panther out in the backyard so he can be outside on nice days. I wish I could let him free range but I have two cats and they stalk him. Was wondering if anyone built their own outside cage and if so what'd you use? pics?
Great Thanks for the reply !! I have to take my guy to the vet because I think he may have some parasites - his poop is stinky and I'm worried, I just didn't know how you would administer antibiotics and how hard it would be, either way sounds primarily easy

I've gone to NorthStar Vets in Robbinsville NJ, Not sure how close that is to you- They are open 24/7 and have a great reptile vet
I've recently acquired a a 75 watt basking bulb for free - currently I have a 50 watt for my little guy - wanted to get some opinions on the 75, would it be too hot??

I use a 10 gallon tank as well, I will definitely try the water crystals and offer different types of feeding, I have multiple egg crates !! I think I might try to order them from one of the sponsors like mentioned above and give that a try, I just am sick of them eating each other and the only...
I've never tried dubias before because where I am located no one sells them but I'll definitely look into it! And I do have a cricket quencher, i forget the exact name of it but its like a yellow gel substance and I always see them drinking/eating it! I will definitely try your suggestions...
Ok so I'm getting kind of sick of all my crickets eating each other!!! I buy 4 dozen every 3 days. The crickets do not eat each other all the time but sometimes they like devour each other that instead of having 4 dozen I now have 2 ! I've heard that feeding them multiple items and having more...
When Sandy struck I was without power for days and I do not have a generator or anything so the first thing I did when I could drive safely out of my neighborhood was go on a road trip to my Grandmas house which is a hour away. I honestly did not think my cham was going to make it through the...
I got him from Florida and I live in NJ so it would be the same time zone - he normally wakes up as soon as the lights come on but one day last week and this morning he didn't! so I started wondering if maybe he's too cold or just can't tell that it is morning time because of where he was...

Ok so I have a 2 1/2 month old panther, he's been doing GREAT! I just have a question because this has happened twice so far since I've had him for 2 weeks- My lights are on a timer and they come on at 8:00 in the morning- this morning I came into my room around 10:00 and he still wasn't up - I...
-Schefflera/Umbrella plant is by far the easiest plant I've ever had! I water mine every 3-4 days and almost everyday I see new shoots growing!! It's very sturdy for the cham!
I also have a hibiscus plant - this is a little more difficult because it needs ALOT of light, but its been doing...
The extra length would definitely be great for me! I live in an old house and my whole room is literally on extension cords because I only have 2 wall outlets! the longer the better for me !! Thank you
