I can't imagine why your asking for help if everything that gets suggested your ignoring...... How do you know it was your bulbs? Just because you don't hear anything doesn't mean it isn't a RI... Bubbles is a HUGE sign of fluid and gaping is as well, along with closing eyes means they have hit...
Just decide what colors you want... They are ALL beauties and colors aren't really something you can "plan", though I mean selective breeding obviously makes a difference, but whether or not a particular one will be more likely to be vibrant can't be planned... Just check out the different...
It wont do very much good at all plus it will QUICKLY calcify whatever you are using to spray and it would be a waste of money... Just lightly dust her feeders and don't "ghost" them and she'll be fine
Also basking spot bulbs are only an addition, if they are NEEDED it is due to having an improper temperature range. If your temps in your cage reach temps that a cham needs then a basking bulb isn't actually necessary. If the top of the cage reaches about 85 then it wont be needed at all because...
Okay so after having a LONG conversation and back and forth with a very well respected Chameleon guy (Chris Anderson) I will have to say I went through plenty of resources and articles and research and I will openly correct myself as I feel I should correct this misconception for everyone. It...

Since all I have knowledge about is muscle growth in humans as I like to consider myself a pretty good nutritionist I will give my main reasoning for going about this suggestion as even though they are cold blooded I am positive their metabolisms, along with nutrient absorption and muscle...
I don't think your understanding my point. My point is not that these posts are accurate my point is that THOSE POSTS are the ones users are going to read. I am not going to argue with you as it would be a futile immature effort on my part. We each have our own methods, one of us has more of an...
Chris. I like everyone else gain information from how I am taught by the people around me. I have talked with other people who have raised reptiles and though I am sorry unlike you I do not have a degree in biology so no I can not give the exact biological processes that on inside the chameleons...
Chris... Though I do honor your opinion and i do understand what you are saying you must see that most of us that use this site gather information from previous threads and personal experience... I have personally experienced an incident thus far in only 4 months in which using a reptiglo tube...
As the OP said for me haha... This is a serious situation only... More or less for when winter is upon us for for areas that keep a pretty low temperature.... The temps at night do need to be low but in tropical areas lower than 60 is a problem and that's where a heat emitter would be needed
Now I will say since you said you'll do that... If your temps are at 60-70 range at night that is the proper temps you need and do not require a heat emitter, I was simply giving a suggestion :) These little guys need that temp drop and it sounds like your temps are in a good range, maybe lower...
