    panther will only eat worms

Thanks for the advice! Yeah he definitely is an addict lol, he'll take worms instantly as I put them in his terrarium, but crickets have to be left in a feeder cup for a few days until he'll take them and even then he doesn't always. I've been doing mostly silk worms as I have heard butter worms...

    panther will only eat worms

Hey one of my panthers is being really fussy on crickets, he won't eat them at all anymore but he'll eat any kind of worm I feed him, I mostly feed butter worms and silkworms, sometimes hornworms, im just wondering if it's OK to keep him on a worm only diet as long as I continue to gut load and...

    first panther chameleon

No problem! Yeah I use multivitamin and I also have the white repticalcium with d3 that I use every so often. That's awesome that she's warming up to you so quick and eating out your hand, im in the process of "bonding" with my new guy who I've had for a week now, he's slowly coming around for me :)

    bulge at base of tail

Hey I've noticed a bulge at the base of one of my guys tails, it doesn't look too abnormal but there isn't as large of a bulge on my other cham, it doesn't seem to bother him if I touch it and I'm pretty sure it's nothing but getting some other opinions would be great, heres a pic of it

    first panther chameleon

I have 2 male panther chams and I usually dust every other day, I also keep a varied diet of crickets/hornworms/silkworms/butterworms with crickets being the main course. Worms have a lot of calcium in them already so generally I don't dust worms but every so often I do. For live plants as other...

    aggressive chameleon

Look who's finally coming around, he's getting less and less aggressive each day! Now that I'm handling him I've noticed a fairly large bulge right at the base of his tail, not sure what it is cuz my other panther doesn't have a bulge that large, but it doesn't bother him at all, just wondering...

    aggressive chameleon

Good news! This morning after feeding him a couple silk worms out my hand he let me take him out! He was still a little uneasy but he didn't try to bite me or anything, he did gape and hiss a couple times while we was out so I put him back after a couple minutes, baby steps :) I noticed while he...

do male chams know each other are there w/o seeing

Yeah this one has been bugging me since I got my second, it's a lot easier to have the cages close but obviously their health comes first!

do male chams know each other are there w/o seeing

just a quick question on something that I've been wondering, I have 2 male panthers, their terrariums are next to each other approx a couple feet apart, the sides that face each other are both blocked off so they can't see each other but is there any other way for them to tell if the other is...

    aggressive chameleon

Will do! Hope it works out for you too, it took my nosy be a week or so to finally let me handle him without puffing up, now he just likes to sit on the top of my head while I watch TV or whatever!

    aggressive chameleon

Here's a couple pics of him taking a silkie off my hand, he wasn't too pissed here but as soon as he took it he started backing off, but I can tell he's slowly coming around

    aggressive chameleon

I'm pretty sure that's exactly it, just going to give him some space and keep hand feeding him, he'll get used to me. Thanks all for the advice

    aggressive chameleon

Never mind about the poop cleaning one out of his cage now! Lol I feel like he's going to settle down in the next few days, he already comes out on his own if I leave the cage open but he's just not fond of me yet, I just want to hear some other opinions from experienced cham owners!

    aggressive chameleon

Hey everyone, I've just brought home a new panther chameleon (my second) 3 days ago and he's being crazy aggressive. Normally I wouldn't worry about this too much as he's settling into a new home and also shedding, but the reason I'm posting is because I know the breeders and he's supposed to be...
