    finally back from vacation...

And who gave you the idea to suggest to Harry to send her down?! I recall you and Lee over the house after Daytona talking about Garadean and *me* suggesting he should send her to the Quad ranch! But I will give you credit for taking the idea and making it happen! :) In all seriousness...

    finally back from vacation...

Hey Harry, First off, thanks for such kind words! :o I know we spoke yesterday, but I'm so glad they made it ok and you're happy with them. If Garadean laid any eggs, she buried them beneath the plastic bottom of her suite! we bonsai most of our schefflera and such so there wouldn't have...

Incubator failure: 45 quad eggs gone

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear that. Just for the record, these fridges aren't designed specifically for incubation. They're a standard "Made in China" product that anyone can, and has, repackaged as their own. Heck, even Exo-terra jumped the on the bandwagon and has a black version of the same...

    Finally quadricornis eggs!!

Congratulations! Just a word of advice, incubate at a steady temperature of 72 (22c). I found the up and down in temps lead to lower hatch rates. :) Good luck either way! Luis

    Deremensis

In our experience, T. deremensis prefer low 70's with 72-74 being the most comfortable for them. Ours begin to gape when temps reach above 78. We don't provide hot spots, since they really aren't necessary and only add to potential over heating (though during winter months when temps may dip...
