    Vinny's Eyes closed

What are you feeding the supers and dubias? Sometimes if my guy isn't looking his best its time to swap in some other feeders, and change up the gutload. Maybe some crickets, silkworms, and hornworms could help perk him up.

    Which Cham to Buy

I don't think you'll have any problems with either of them, I was just offering my opinion. The biggest issue with Morphs is their unpredictability in the looks department. It may be beautiful, I've seen some that aren't. (I know, some would argue that there is no such thing as a bad looking...

HR 669 - Nonnative Wildlife Invasion Prevention Act

Taking a "It will never pass" attitude is pretty dangerous if you understand that the lobbyists behind this bill are extremely powerful, with a lot of money. Groups like PETA have a tremendous amount of resources, because on the surface.. if you walk up to someone on the street and say...

    Which Cham to Buy

Personally, I'd buy the 100% Sambava vs. the genetic fruit punch of the second one.

    B.c Dangerous Animal Ban

Unless we've secretly completed the invasion, HR669 will have nothing to do with B.C. . This is a different piece of legislation. Expand your world view people. US laws stop at the canadian border.

    repti breeze

Reptibreeze cages are the best thing to happen to our hobby in a long time. A retail-ready, appropriate, chameleon cage offered through the extensive Zoo-Med distribution network will help to put an end to pet stores selling chameleons with aquariums. Pet stores have constantly refused to...

NEw enclosure With no water !!!!

The biggest reason that this problem occurs again and again is that companies like exoterra market their waterfalls directly for chameleons. They put chameleons on the box, photoshop chameleons onto the waterfall, etc. The pet stores talk to their exoterra or zoomed reps and are told "This...

    Turn around time on Herpmist

My last experience with Jason was speedy, my first one wasn't so speedy. He's a one man business, but it seems like he needs a way to update his website more often to announce when he'll be away.

    wooden viv with glass

If you need to do 3 sides in plastic, ie: the floor, the back, and the side next to the TV to prevent spray, but the cage is still screen on the top, front, and other two sides, I think everything will be fine. I'd recommend an opaque, non-reflective material. I use white coroply, which is a...

adcham.com is the closest to what you're looking for. Realistically, if you want to see whats available at any given time as far as imported oddball species, kingsnake is a good place to look.

I would like to get your opinion on this cage that i built

Is that MDF? If it is... its not exactly an ideal material for a cham cage. You're going to need to essentially seal the whole interior with some kind of epoxy.. Because a little moisture and MDF turns to mush.

    Much Profit In Breeding?

This is exactly why I've been posting the things I have. I'm going to be very clear. 1) You will not making money breeding chameleons. 2) You are too inexperienced to even consider breeding chameleons at this point. 3) Get a job. 4) Study hard, and get a scholarship. Seriously...

    Much Profit In Breeding?

You can rationalize things however you want, if you can make money doing one thing, but you could make more money doing something else. Choosing the first is economically inefficient. You're paying an increased opportunity cost to do something you enjoy instead of something that you don't. Its...

    Much Profit In Breeding?

The trick with any business is really to have the money to do it right up front. Even most of the people here who claim to have made profit, don't understand the meaning of profit. When you compare their net revenues to their opportunity cost (ie: what their time would have made them working...

    Much Profit In Breeding?

I'm reasonably sure everything in this paragraph is wrong. Including how hardy baby jacksons are. Quite frankly, The economy is tanking, and the market is over-saturated with hobby breeders. If someone came to me with a business plan to raise chameleons right now I'd laugh at them. To do...
