    Wooden cage

for a channel like that? seems drastically easier to me to just set up the table saw to do it.. I'd groove all the boards before I even cut them to length.

How not to start a Saturday ( Vandalism)

I'm pretty sure it went down something like "Hey, lets take these" and then once they were on the run they realized that it wasn't exactly something easy to hide from their parents, so they ditched them in the woods.

    Vieled moprhs?

Was he a nascar fan? I have a theory that involves corn snake genetic breakthroughs occurring more frequently in the vicinity of nascar fans.. Here's hoping the chameleon market can resist trailer park genetic engineering. BTW, 10 points for the thread resurrection! Released by a secret...

    cage size

is it 22 inches high or 33.. I know 48 is the typical.. I have my male in a 24X30X38 or so and he's fine, but its 4 feet off the ground.. so he's still way up in the air.

    Flexariums

Obviously the manufacturers aren't necessarily accurate in their descriptions, but its pretty simple to visualize what is theoretically going on. A 5.0 Bulb means that 5 percent of the light output of the bulb is in the UVB spectrum. On an 18 watt bulb, that comes out to about .9 watts of UVB...

    Talking to you Cham

Talking to animals is crazy. Expecting them to talk back is even crazier. I think the third and final round of crazy is talking on their behalf. I'm guilty of all three, and should be locked up for it I'm sure. However, I do save my more in depth conversations for my cats.

    My baby veiled

I think i pretty much disagree with everything here. Chameleons aren't hamsters... its not a more you handle them, the friendlier they are scenario. In my experience, the more you handle them, the more they hate you, unless you count getting them so stressed out that they go comatose every...

    Hardest post ever...

I know this is slightly derailing the subject, and I'm sorry for your loss. Thats horrible. However.. firing any kind of pellet or bb gun up into the air is pretty dangerous.. pellet guns especially. Crow hunting is also usually regulated by season.. and I'd reccomend a shotgun ;)

    Grow Lights

Any kind of Halide, Sodium, or other HID light seems like a bad idea to me. The heat output is tremendous. In addition the wavelengths put out aren't of an overly natural balance.. but I think the worst thing for the chams is having such a large bright focal point so close. HID lighting will...

All My Cham Needs to get started?

I'll throw in my disagreement in regard to the supplements.. Minerall-O is essential for indoor use in chameleons, and would be my primary supplement, as the O means it is a D3 free calcium. Personally I like the Zoomed Reptivite as it includes preformed vitamin A vs. Beta Carotene which...

    Panther claws

It also is just a wear thing... My panther that crawls all over his screen has very short nails, the one that doesn't has long nails.

Ziggy at 11 months or so..

I'm sure he might be. BUT as that would be like handing him to the cats on a stick, no good could come of that. :D . BTW, the two other chams are much friendlier, so I don't think the cats are the issue. They are locked out of the cham room 98% of the time, and the chams are on 4 foot high...

Ziggy at 11 months or so..

Lets put it this way... if I keeled over and died with the cage door open.. I'm reasonably sure he'd gnaw the face off of my corpse just out of spite.

Here is my guy ziggy at 11 months. Bought him off of forum member "Picasso" last August. Couldn't be more thrilled with how he turned out. He's an angry dude though..
