And here I thought I had too many plants in there! I compared to other enclosures and mine seemed more filled up, but I have a lot of spare fake plants that I can add!
Thanks
I've read about this many times!
The braided money tree (Pachira Acquatica) is a safe money tree..But, you are right in a way because other types of Money Trees are known to be toxic.
I'd say now is about the time. I personally feel that at any age they can live in a large enclosure.
I just relate it to the wild, they are born in a massive rainforest, not a small exo-terra enclosure! :P
I'd say move him - I'm getting my first panther tomorrow, he will be 3-4 months old...
Sorry to post just a boring enclosure again - but it is now fully completed (I think!) with lights equipped.
-Reptibreeze XL (2'x2'x4')
-Basking bulb: 15W household (seems low to me, but it keeps a basking site of around 83-85 F)
-UVB: 18" Reptisun 5.0
-Feeding cup not shown
-Plants...
Thanks! But, I was looking for something more specific on basking temps, and ambient temps for example..
I looked at a variety caresheets on google and a lot of them are completely different!
I'm getting my panther tomorrow and have a quick question before I go tomorrow to buy feeders..
Which calcium supplement is the "best" to use for chameleons?
Thanks :)
I have a XL reptibreeze (2X2X4')
Do you think it is okay to use an 18" fixture, even though the enclosure is 24" wide? I found a cheap one at a local hardware store and is currently set up. I couldn't find any 24" for a decent price!
Bulb = Reptibreeze 5.0
Thanks :)
I think I'm moving toward the Faly...
It's just the cute Nosy Be in the reptile store looked so cute and he was extremely active! (constantly exploring his enclosure)
I just hope the Faly is just as active!
They are both around the 3-4 months range :)
I personally know the breeder, it comes from a very well known bloodline - he usually sells them for a higher price.
The reason I'm not giving much info is because the seller asked me to keep quiet! (in a nice way) haha
I'm pretty sure it's a REAL Faly, he just breeds Faly's from a nice bloodline...
-the sire is a nice blue, with darker blue bars, and red dots all over his body, but more dots on his head, some white on him too.
It's $100 more, I just don't know if it's worth it!
$325 compared to $425! - Seems...
