I just took a real close look at it, it may not be a burn, maybe just unshedding. The texture is very similar. The Polysporin is safe? I'll try that out, thanks!
So, for the past couple weeks my chameleon has had this spot on his body, I originally thought it was just a patch of shedding that is taking longer than usual, but now I'm sort of concerned..Could it be a burn?
Here are some pics, tell me what you think!
Kind of worried that my panther chameleon may be small for his age..I'll post a couple pics, but it is probably too hard to tell..what's an average length for a 9 month old male panther chameleon?
Thanks for the help!
I had it setup before I had gotten my male panther, but realized all the plants/bamboo are too close to the light, and the enclosure seems too dark because there is a lot of shade.
Would it stress the chameleon a lot by changing his setup? He's been in his enclosure for about 3 months now...
I had my male panther in a 24x24x48 since he was a couple months old - just make sure that he is eating his food, you can use a feeding cup to easily monitor that! He'll love the space!
Wow, Ryu is crazy nice..I'm not worried/freaked out at all, I love the way he is turning out - just naturally curious! Whatever he happens to be, I'd be more than happy :)
Great pics, Texas!
Appreciate your guys opinions, I think Texas is right by saying it's a Faly, even though I kind of see more of an Ambanja - but my experience is very limited!
I'll post more pics in a month or when I start seeing more coloration!
Time will tell!
Haha good, the person I was also talking to thinks that the Faly is just a hybrid of locales and not it's own..I often take his word for things because he's been in the business for years
