I'm getting the fixture+bulb tomorrow, and I've asked about the plants in the forums (Money Tree or Pachira Acquatica) and it is known to be safe.

I still need the buy the UVB fixture and bulb. The basking temp is right around 85 F. - 15W bulb...seems kind of low! Do chams usually know not to go too close to a heat source such as the bulb? Thanks :)

How hot should the basking be for a 3.5 month old panther? Also, will he know not to get too close to the heat bulb? - like climbing on the mesh under it for example.

Hey :) I just started doing the decorating yesterday, what I used was a thin wire and tied it around the vines and into the holes of the aluminum screening..What kind of enclosure do you have?

Yeah, I was thinking adding some bendy vines, or just put some diagonal bamboo sticks coming from the bottom. Thanks!
