Neelix is always enraged, unless I take him out into the garden, he becomes a complete puppy in natural sunlight. but indoors, I leave him alone. Little monster bites me if he gets the chance!
LOL that's exactly why he's called Boo, it says so on his side :D
He was the 1st member of my family...
hmmm, my Alfie was treated for mild mouth rot 2 weeks ago & has only been eating for those 2 weeks (first force-feeding, now eating on his own) & hasn't pooped yet. Maybe I should take him back to the vet for a check-up & mention it to her
Yea, it's flamazine. He's coping well with me treating him. I feel so bad that I got him burned :(
He got lots of treats this morning- he loves dubias & silkies. & he'll always be my big beauty
it is a burn, he lost 2 spines as the vet was checking him. She gave him an antibiotic injection and then gave me an iodine wash and silver sulfadiazine cream (I assume it is silvadine?) to apply twice daily. She also advised me to lower his basking temp slightly as the scar tissue will be...
:( I feel awful about it, it's so important to check the position of the thermometers and thermostat sensors. It's caught me out twice- once when it became too cold for my veiled & now this burn incident. Hopefully he won't have sustained too much damage but it's become more yellow with time...

beautiful! Have you had any luck feeding him? My python is a nightmare for refusing food, she's extremely shy & any disturbance makes her refuse to eat
I know! It's a good job he's a sweetie. If he were aggressive like my veiled, I'd be a bit scared. I also have his sister, from the same clutch- she's the same age & only 145g!
This is Riker, my oustalet's boy. When I was told he would grow big, I didn't appreciate how big! He's still not full grown at 400g. He eats about 20 feeders per day & becomes most upset if I try him on every other day feeds. He's a gentle giant- very shy, doesn't like handling & just about...
also, the pics of my pacman frog show him covered with spagnum moss- this was in the viv he came with, it's been removed & replaced with eco-soil & frog moss.
