He got here Wednesday. I got him from the Kammers. He's a 4-month-old male Nosy Be, and I named him Reggie : ]

The white part is white... no orange. Would that mean he was dehydrated or something?
And yeah, haha, he's my first one. The only other reptiles I've had are bearded dragons and I'd heard that they're much easier to take care of, so I'm really worried, haha. He can't be harder than a...
I wasn't planning on doing it anymore once I got him, but I just read somewhere that they have a really bad sense of smell. Would it bother him if I did?
Panther, four months, about two inches... maybe two and a half (not including his tail).
He drinks a lot, but I'll post some pictures in a little bit so you can see if he looks skinny or dehydrated.
Also... He'll only eat if I hold the cup in my hand and let him sit on the edge of it...
My new chameleon just arrived Wednesday morning. He only ate 5 crickets Wednesday and 2-3 crickets Thursday and Friday. Does he just need some time to settle in, or could there be something wrong with him? He's 4 months old, BTW.
Okay, I will. I have a thermometer, but it is refusing to stay attached to the screen. I'll figure something out.
He climbs on the screen even when he's not going towards the heat lamp... He crawls up and down the sides and all around the ceiling. Is that bad for him? :S
I read in several places that they shouldn't be allowed to get much closer than 8 inches from it or they'll burn without realizing it. But he keeps crawling on the ceiling and standing right under it. Should I make it so he can sit closer to it on the branches?
This was my pit/boxer mix (we think):
Her name was Chloe and she died New Year's Eve 2007.
Here are some more pictures of her:

He's adorable!
There are different ways to do it, but you usually split the cost of board with the owner. And the owner usually pays for things like vet bills, farrier, etc. But sometimes the person leasing pays for almost everything, and sometimes they pay nothing at all.
Aww, good...

This is the heat light I have:

I have the 50 watt one. Would it be okay to put it on top of the cage?
It won't melt the top of the cage if you set the lamps on it?
I'm using a ReptiSun 5.0 Compact Fluorescent. I thought that was the one everybody said to use...
If that's the wrong one, it's no big deal. I won't have the chameleon until next week, so I'll just switch them out. Thanks for...
Where do you guys keep your lamps? I have a screen cage and I don't know where to attach them.
My cage is on top of a piece of furniture, so the top of it is near my curtain rods. I attached the heat lamp to the curtain rod, and it worked fine, but the UV lamp was just too heavy. I thought...
