I did a google search for transvaalense sales and your for sale post from last year came up.. Big Homer Simpson Doh with a slap to the face!!!! I would have been all over that if I knew about them back then..
I'm just a serious chameleon pet owner. I don't want to go down the deep end and it starts with breeding. :D Trust me.. the thought has gone through my head plenty of times..
I'm just now getting exposed to this beautiful species. How come nobody has tried to breed them here?? I see there are different Bradypodion sub-species. $400 for a transvaalense?? If so, put me down.. I'm in..:D How many orders are needed to do this??
chalk up one interested buyer here..
Pretty cool. The way your cham was looking at it in the background and then emerges between the leaves reminded me of the scene from Return of the Jedi when Luke was in the dungeon and that big creature came out of the dark cave...
He's beautiful.. I wouldn't be surprised if at least 90% of this board's members and readers are comprised of panther or veiled owners.. Click away and post on :)
He's really loving his hornworms.. :D He's also eating dubias now which is a coin toss depending on how he feels that day.
---He just recently popped a shed.. Thought I'd share. I know I've been whoring my chams lately but hey,, I'm on a long vacation :D
1st pic- your finger is kind of in the way but I'll say it's a male. The base of the tail seems thick enough to say male. The other 2 pics don't really help since the tail is curled up but again I still see a thick base. I can kind of see his bulge on the 3rd pic.
The best pic to provide...
Maybe you didn't catch the whole thread but I was actually super advocating your product. I use the reg. dino fuel and love the stuff. I notice more "pop" to my animals' colors. The OP just asked if he should get the regular to add to the Raptor edition that he's already using. I...
Completely 100% agreed. :D As far as my statement though about my cham's purple bars.. I didn't mean to make it sound like he mysteriously morphed colors. He's always had red and blues in his bars but not since recently did he start displaying more blue/purplish color. It just happened to...
:D
I was thinking the same thing in regards to normal color development with age in regards to mine and Toph00's chams since they are both still fairly young.
But,, on the other hand though I personally did see more pronounced coloration development on my guy after using dino fuel...
He looks awesome!!
The dino fuel theory is quite plausible. I've been using dino fuel regular edition on my Oh My! male and his blue colors are starting to dominate. His bars used to be primarily red but now they've become purple since dino fuel. He's also become more neon-like green body...
Draco??
How about Draco? First thought when I saw your pics were tiny wingless dragon. Awesome cham by the way!
Edit: just did a search on the name and it seems like a few guys have used that name already... Oh well..
The big hornworms have eagle talon like grip and I've seen my cham playing tug of war just to get it to come off a branch. I personally prefer to just hand feed them. The horns seem soft and I leave it alone. I have read on Mulberry Farms' site caresheet that the big ones can bite and some...
