I've put them in the refrigerator before and they were fine. Just make sure they are not the really small hatchlings though. You only want to do this if you want to slow their growth. They grow very fast @ room temps. and your cham may not be able to handle the full grown adult hornworms...
They both look beautiful. The female is looking especially lovely in her new colors (I see a little shed leftover on her face). My male also flashes that yellow color. Very nice pictures :)
That's just part of the game
I'd guess about 90% of chameleon purchases are made where shipping is involved. My experiences have all been good and I'm sure just about everybody will vouch the same thing. Just like everything in life though, there are exceptions where mishaps happen and don't...
I wonder if this is related to his protruding butt issue you posted a few days back. Something worth considering..
My personal experience with hydration has been a pain in the @$$. I've tried showering but my guys just freak out. Yours might be different so you might want to try that...
OP just said that she died by the time that she hit post so calling a vet and driving her to the office would have yielded the same result if that's any consolation.
That is such a sad pic :( I'm so sorry :(

Thank you :) I only have a few days of personal experience but I'm pretty sure you'd love them. He's a very entertaining guy to observe. Sometimes he has moments where he looks like a cham on speed.. lol.. He moves just like my panthers but in a fast paced frantic kind of way.. Maybe he'll...
Thanks for the compliments :D
They are not live vines. They are ZooMed naturalistic flexible vines. I got them from the Kammer's website a while ago. LLLreptile also has them and a few other sites.
My guy is actually the opposite where he hangs out on the vines and rarely goes into...
Just got this adorable guy yesterday. He is my first carpet and didn't expect him to be so small!! He's displayed a few different color patterns already. I wish I could have gotten them on camera. He's just too cute. Thought I'd share him.
The second sentence sent it home for me since I am very interested but was maybe driven by that impulse of seeing a very rare and beautiful animal.. so I'll sit this one out. I would no doubt still have given all my effort to simulate their natural environment to succeed. EVERYBODY that keeps...
