My 3 month old is doing this, too. This morning, he climbed around and drank some water and ate a little bit, pooped, climbed, ate about ten more 1/4 crickets then I came home and he was under his UVB bulb with both eyes closed. I looked closer and one eye opened at looked back at me. I fed him...
I figured it was from LLL. They were selling them for 175? I asked for a male, but they couldn't guarantee.. You can always get a male in the future and breed!
He looks so funny right now. Sitting upright with his tail curled up and holding a leaf kinda like in the pics above. I should be getting a better camera for tomorrow and I expect to post a lot more for fun.
I wanted to wait until he settled down and got rid of his "I'm pissed off leave me alone colors".
Today, he ate 2 crickets from my hand, has been drinking water, and pooped. So, I think he's in good shape. The only thing that has me worried is his left eyeball. Idk if it's normal for young...

I placed the cup in the cage and took the top off..He was sleeping upside down, so I unfolded the paper towel a little and the bugger jumped out of the cup and onto my hand. I held my arm in the cage for about thirty seconds...

"The most infamous sign of a sick chameleon is closing eyes or sleeping during the day. Unfortunately, it only tells you that there is something wrong. Closing eyes can pretty much means anything from too much UVB to hypovitaminosis A. Therefore, it is imperative to consult to your trusted vet...
Here's my method.
Acquire one lunch tray from school and put it at the bottom. It collects enough water to not overflow (small enclosures) and it's easy to clean. I just get a sponge and wipe the bottom. Then, squeeze out the excess water into another bucket. Repeat until the tray is dry. I...
I'm jealous. He looks epic in that last picture! I just bought a cross and I'll have no idea what he looks like for months!
edit- i like how you kept the labels on the cage "A" and "H" haha
Why does this plant get a bad rap? According to the Live Plant list, it's easy to maintain and non toxic. I am most interested in this plant as a type of chameleon water fountain I guess. I don't have any live plants, yet. I'm also interested in the scheflerra plant.
