What are your night time temps?
My Panther (5month) wakes up @ 7 A.M and chills near basking bulb for a few hours moves under the UVB. Then, @ around 3-4 P.M he moves to the lower half of the cage to his sleeping branch and remains there until the lights turn off . I think they are just cooling...
How can you afford to feed your silkworms? I want to do this, but I looked at the price for "chow" and laughed. Do you have a mulberry tree or a money tree?
Seems like a pretty common thing now that i searched "crickets chewed threw reptarium" with Google! Lol I wasn't aware of that  Well, back to square one. And I guess that's why they sell "replacement" mesh in case anything happens .
I got a $50 dollar humidifier for $25 shipped bc it was refurbished and I have it on a timer so he doesn't get too much and I leave it off at night. Weekly cleaning is a snap just rinse with vinegar and water mix and let it sit for twenty minutes rinse and ready to go.
See i figure they'd be easier...just take off the mesh and spray it and hang it outside and soak the rest in soapy water. I like the idea of already having mesh at the bottom instead of the flat plastic piece. As far as hard to see I guess I'll have to see for myself and maybe put a brighter...
Meh, the Zilla cage I have is a nightmare. I want to burn it in the fire pit excluding the chameleon of course. I'll take a zipper and some pvc over rust, poor craftsmanship, missing parts, holes in the frame where bugs hide and the list goes on. Yeah I don't necessarily want the extra pieces...
I love the idea of these cages, but the pictures are throwing me off a bit. I searched for better pictures on google with no luck. So, do these enclosures have three horizontal pvc pipes per side or two? I'm looking at getting the 260 gallon..Maybe the pic with 3 is a custom one with four way...
I think not, but I could be wrong. I've never understood the point of housing animals of different species in the same place. Is it to save money? Or are the owners hoping the animals will sing along and dance with one another?
I love Hilton Head in general, as I go there just about every year with some friends and stay with wealthy godparents and everywhere they take us this is my face . I say go and check out the island of Dafuskie and take a tour! And go eat at Paula Deen's place.
I ship everything UPS. Never would I trust USPS with a live animal from personal experiences, but I'm sure they are fine. That's a looong trip, so go with the best service.
Yes, over supplementing is bad and so is under supplementing. If you are gut loading with greens high in Vitamin A, then go ahead and dust w/vit A once a month. Also, I hardly think that's to much d3 as I free range my feeders that are very lightly dusted and a lot of that junk gets washed off...
A young chameleon that is housed indoors needs a good amount of vitamin D3. How is it confusing to dust with D3 every other day and dust with vitamins once a week? Breeder I spoke to said most customers that reported early MBD followed the schedule your suggesting, but it' such a controversial...
