    new to baby panthers

I'd like to think there isn't really a set age to move him or her, I judge based off of size. Once he or she is about 9-10 inches, he or she should be ready.

    new to baby panthers

The cage I used for my baby panther was an 18"x12"x20", and it worked great. I kept him in it until he was about 10 inches long, and about 8 month old. Or the cheaper option is to buy an 2'x2'x4' and partition the inside to the appropriate size.

Is there anyway to stop the humming from florescent fixtures? I have 2 separate fixtures, one for his uvb bulb, and one for a 6500k bulb.

    Is my cham underweight?

Thanks carol5208! I've been meaning to start using calcium without D3, but the breeder I bought him from (Screameleons) suggests using with D3 ever time for chams kept indoors, and since he hasn't had any exposure to natural sunlight I though he might need it. What's a good calcium regiment for...

    Is my cham underweight?

I only recently stated using a ceramic heater along with a basking bulb due to the huge drop in temp we've experienced here in Illinois. Since it's been cooler his basking spot would sometimes not even break 80F with just the light, so I added a ceramic heat emitter with an on/off thermostat to...

Got stung by a wasp, ooch!

If it's been an over an hour and there's little if any new swelling you should be fine. Most people who are allergic will know it in the first 10 min. You might want to take an antihistamine (like benadryl) just in case.

    New dubia colony tips?

I started out with about 40-45 of all different sizes. I think there was 2 fully grown males and 3 females.

    What is wrong with him?

I agree on getting rid of the 10.0 bulb and switching to a 5.0. Also are you using calcium with d3? If so he may be getting way to much d3 if your using it along with a multivitamin with added d3.

    New dubia colony tips?

Hi everyone! I've recently set up a dubia colony due to Yoshi giving up on crickets and I was wondering if anyone has any tips for me. I have a large black rubbermaid storage bin with a heat pad reaching 90 degrees F under one side with clean egg flats over it (no substrate). I use Josh's Frogs...

    Thermostats

Hi everyone I just had a question about my thermostat. I'm currently using a reptitemp 500r and the only problem I'm having with it is that it turns the basking light off when it gets too hot. I bought the 500r thinking it would adjust the temperature by dimming the light, not just turning it on...
