Thread resurrection!
I caught him waking up the other morning and took this pic.
Edit:
Since I am here, might as well link to these pics for more comparison since they aren't in this thread.

I have never seen a cham with...
Try giving her fresh eucalyptus leaves if you can find them (check parks and maybe post on your local craigslist in the farm and garden section)
These will make her grow larger and help her develop better coloring. A lot of it does come down to genetics, though. Access to a UVB light might...
My mouth gets pretty itchy when eating pineapple. I think lots of people are mildly allergic to it. Of course, it is delicious, so totally worth the mild and temporary discomfort.
It really isn't hard and my snakes really enjoyed them. They are not very nutritious, though. Hamsters are pretty fatty...rats make much better feeders. Hamsters make a good treat for a non picky snake (but be sure to pre-kill with CO2)
I think that this is a bad idea for two main reasons.
First, a light cycle like that will hurt your cham in the long run. They suffer from lack of adequate sleep like any other animal and they definitely will benefit from a switch in time schedule in the winter. They will even go into a light...
You can make stupidity very expensive and put more effort into educating the average pet owner, though
There should be no 'fighting line dogs' in the first place, its despicable to use their natural instincts to pit one against another for our sick $$ making entertainment! Period.
When...
They are the only hamsters that do well in pairs or groups (syrians (teddy bear, golden, black bear, panda or whatever other designer name they are calling them) are very territorial and will kill each other)
They are cute and small and I always kept mine in a 20 gallon long tank. You should...
No dog should be left with an infant, regardless of breed. Your statement should read: "Just making the point that no matter how friendly the animal is, one still has to remember it is a dog and should be treated as such. You wouldn't leave a friendly 20 ft python alone with an infant. Dogs...
All of the above are good ideas, especially warm showers and silk/horn worms.
You can also get pedialyte from the store and drip it into your chams mouth once he starts drinking. This will rehydrate him faster since it has necessary electrolytes in it that plain water is lacking.
You can...
On the bright side, xrays for smaller animals are usually pretty cheap, especially if they can use a dental slide for it. Good luck!
Also, waxworms are a great idea to help fatten him up, but make sure he has other types of feeders, too. Silkworms would be awesome for him.
It is one of the ingredients in Reptaid and it works well in humans and other animals. It is worth trying but you may want to consult a qualified herp vet before dosing it.
It's a shame that the posts were manipulated and several were deleted so that newcomers can't get the full picture here.
Edit: manipulated meaning Googlez looks totally innocent and the other members who chimed in were edited out.
Dropping it. Sorry for the hassle, Brad, but I am not sorry...
Luna moths have been in really serious decline for years now :( I would hate to think you wasted a precious life of a beautiful and rare insect like this just to watch your cham eat something novel.
Haha, thanks. I was dressed as a gypsy for a friend's birthday party/costumed pub crawl. I jingled all night thanks to the coins sewn to my skirt and around my ankle (could have been the drinks, too...):o
I have a pair of these. Good luck finding any for sale (there are a few up on KS every once in a while.
I am seconding crested gecko. You can't beat them- they are easy to care for, hardy, friendly, live in very attractive tanks, eat a powder based diet (Repashy!), and come in various...
