Correct! I was expecting the green variety- in fact was looking for a partner for my other one, but couldn't really turn them down!
Also correct - wasn't really expecting them so had to scrabble round the house plants for something for the tank!
They are already eating fruit flies by the...
From my local reptile shop - and I nearly missed them, as they were in a tank next to the inverts so I didn't bother to look in it. Fortunately the guys there know my tastes and pointed them out to me!
Ha! Mine did her first full tentrum last week (and she's a year this month so quite late on!). Very funny - all because I installed a dripper in her flex for the first time. Apparently it annoyed her!
Hi there
Just after some advise about tempature gradients in a flexi.
My adult male is in a wood/mesh viv roughly the same size as a 100gallon flexi, and i'm happy with his temperature distribution in there. Now, today I've moved my 7 month old female into a 100 gallon flexi from her...

HI all
My new baby female veiled is coming up 5 months old, and I'm thinking about getting a laying site in for her, just in case. (I'm keeping her temps down and food intake regulated so hopefully she shouldn't ovulate, but I'm a bit paranoid about the whole thing). Trouble is, most of the...
Just setting up a new viv for my new baby yemen, and was checking the temps overnight. Last night dropped to 58'F - is that too low for her? My adult male has a heat cable in his viv that just keeps his temps up to 60ish overnight (we used to live in a MUCH colder house!), so I'm a little...
