i just thought of something you could put like a guard on the top. small chicken wire(with no rough edges) perhaps wrap it all the ay around so she can't push it off. that way she can't get her tongue in there to drink.
dunno trying to think out loud here. are her urates white?
do you perhaps have a pic of how you have your enclosure set up so that we can get a better idea of what it looks like.
i wouldn't worry to much about her refusing to drink. just make sure to mist, and keep the bowl dry. i would probably put a towel(from the dollar store) so that it is cheap and...
maybe i said it wrong.
i have my dripper on top of my enclosure, under that is my pothos, which is wet and it drips(even with a pot bottom on it). the plant under it(also a vine of some sort) is the one i want to put in the strawberry containers(the ones with the holes all in it).
nothing is...
ok so i have been thinking of a better way to plant my plants.
i have a viney something(it is on the ok list) but it gets soooo much water(its under my dripper) that it really doesn't have enough time to dry off.
so i was thinking maybe i could plant it in a strawberry planter you know the...
some of you might remember my cham cammie i got a couple months back. i had posted that i found blood in his stool. i got the sample into the vet,it wasn't blood at all. it was however found that he was dehydrated. i am not sure how that can be.but it is wha it is. so i have misted a bit more...
he is a panther cham.
i can't seem to get pics loaded, but will try again tonight b/c i want to show my little guy off.
it is amazing how intersting these little guys are. i just love him.
so i have a male panter about 5 1/2 mths old. when i got him and opened up the bag he came in he did have the red showing up on him. but now the only colors i see are really dark lol and then a white almost turquiose blue by the white strips. his eye will get a bit of red around it as well. and...
i have had my panther male over a month now closer to 2 i think.
i have never touched,or even attempted to touch him. i open his enclousre to feed him, change out the paper towels and to mist him. i try to not bother him if i don't have to.
usually he pays no attention to me and goes about his...
all the research i have done says not to handle them. it stresses them, and that isn't good.
they are not social animals in the wild.
these animals are for display only, not to be handled.
you might also want to move the cricket containers away from the side,it might be causing a glare and perhaps your cham can see his reflection thus causing him stress.
also i would add more vines on the other side. also what is the water dish for?
you need to have some kind of dripper for...
so i have had chammie for about 5 or 6 weeks now. when i first got him his nose had a white area around it. i did a search and i found that most believe this to be over supplementing. so i still have not given any supplements since he arrived over a month ago. how ever the white is still there...
when i got my cham over nighted,he was to be delivered before 10 am the next morning. i think he got here at 8 am. the place i got him from said that the delivery company picks their animals up last so that they don't have to be boxed up any longer than they have to.
not sure on picking them up...
i've had him a month now.
he is in a 100 gallow reptarium,he eats free roaming gut loaded(endive, collard greens, dandleion greens) crickets.
i currently have a standard bulb for the heating spot that is usually 85 to 90 ish.
i have a 10.0 retic sun tube bulb
i have a dripper and i mist 3...
