I sort of opened the front hole and squeezed lightly on the other end and out it came very easily.
It's up and walking around. I put it in a small container on moist paper towel. I'm surprised it is already exploring after just a couple of minutes.

On the 21st this baby had it's head out(photo#1), Yesterday there was no progress by morning, and by the afternoon it had gone back into the egg.

Nepenthes alata grows like a weed. If it has something to cling to it can get very sturdy. I have not put one into a chameleon cage, but now i'm thinking I might. They would probably do well if they are getting enough light.
