Good job helping out the cham. I usually just get kicked out (or fired (week before I started university too)) when I try to correct something like that.
But would shipping them in this weather really be good for them, even if he does have them. It's been close to -10*C the last few days in the GTA. Unless he's going to wait 3 months for the weather to improve, maybe someone closer to B.C. would be better.
I feel your pain. My brother knocked over a container with about 200 in it in my bedroom. Took an hour to find most of them, including removing all my furniture. Then he went and knocked it over again putting the last few in.
Crickets are kept in his room now, cause I won't deal with them...
What I do is get a tall container with a lid, similar to the deli cups that some breeders sell their stuff in. (I'm actually using the one my cham cham in) Cut a hole in the lid and fill the container up about 4 inches with tap water. Insert a few pieces of kale with about 5-6" stalks attached...
