She's looking way to small to have been 3 months in September.
I'm thinking you need to up the food intake, has she ever had any superworms or silkworms?
Has she ever shown any blue spots or colouration?
How long have you been feeding that many crickets a day? My female at 6 months of age had been eating 20-30 1/2" crickets for over 3 months.
The hissing and hiding are normal behaviour, they are look only pets, they don't like handling.
When feeding, I just hold a container full of...
About a week ago I was wanting another cham... So I bought one. Now being broke and in university full-time, I can safely say I don't want any more chameleons (for now).
What kind of rat was it? Rattus rattus and Rattus norvegicus (think I spelt it right) only live for about 2.5 years, 3's really pushing it. 2 of my 3 rats both passed away in the last 6 weeks. They were both around 2 years old. I'm hoping Molly lives a little longer, she doesn't have any...
Chameleons, I've had my female since last September, my male was picked up last weekend.
Reptiles in general I've got about 4 years experience keeping various small species. The usual "petsmart mix" as I've stared calling them.
My female veiled Germaine (6 months) loves her crickets, supers, silkies and kale. She just ignores mealworms and any other vegetation. She absolutely hates hornworms, tries to run away when she sees them.
My male veiled Jermaine (I know...:o) (6 weeks) I'm not really sure about. Ignores...
Found this pic on my camera, brother must of taken it.
That squirrel was back everyday for 2 weeks until the corn was buried in the snow. Thought it would be good for a laugh.
At least you don't have 2. Best friend had a pair of mice. Came back to his house 2 months later and he had ten. 2 Months after that he had 50. Stunk like nothing I've smelled before. My advice: before it's too late, find someone with a snake or make your parents deal with the mouse.
A promised here's some updated pics from tonight. I still need to install the back and the divider, should be done by Wednesday. Keep in mind that the cage is upside-down in these pictures, I had to flip it over to seal the bottom.
Cat tried to run through the screen again...
That is useless, too small right to begin with. Most equipment in it is inappropriate for long term care. You're looking for something like this: http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/reptile-supplies/reptile-cages-glass-and-screen/-/24-x-24-x-48-inch-aluminum-screen-cage/
