I'm strictly ground, don't fly unless I hit a ramp. But It's priceless seeing 5 pounds of buggy fly 15 feet in the air. (especially if you don't break anything on the landing)
Figured I'd post an update to this thread. It does not concern Henry directly but it's still nice to hear.

So you're telling me that I went all over the place trying to find a t12 fixture and now they don't make the bulbs?
Damn.
At least I bought a 2 year supply.
Easiest thing to do would be to swap out the ballast. Nothing too difficult and I know home depot has tons in all sizes for about $15.
Try www.geckoforums.net. Really useful site. As far as eggs are concerned, incubate between 80 and 95*F. 80-84 for females, 84-87 for a mix, 87-92 for males, above 92 for females again. Sex is determined within the first 25 days after laying, so you can raise the temperature to high 80's to...
Doesn't sound to me like you she has any problems, my female would occasionally rub her eyes on a branch or leaf. Usually its some old shed skin or maybe dust. She did the leg thing too.
10 leopard geckos, 8 more eggs in the incubator, and I'm expecting another 20 or more eggs before the fall.
Ive had brown and green anoles before, as well as asian grass lizards and house geckos (horrible).
Looking at it, I'd say it was perfect, if you were to get the large or X-large. Must be a really new product, cause they weren't up when I started to build my enclosure. Would have gone with one of them if they had.
To a degree yes. UVA affects behaviour patterns, while UVB is essential for D3 synthesis.
Post some pics and maybe the jackson owners could help you further.
To address Desitiny's comment. All panther chameleons, ambilobe, ankaramy, nosy be, ambanja, or whatever it may be, all belong to the same species, Furcifer Pardalis. The only difference is the colouring that they will display. Think of it as the dozens of morphs availabe in leopard geckos...
There is no way that veiled is 4 months. I'd say around 2 at most. At 4 months my female was far bigger than that one.
But the shower idea is excellent, I've seen 1 or 2 larger ones done for iguanas. Love to see this once it's completed.
If your retrofitting an old piece of furniture, you'd be best off sanding down the entire thing, then restain and coat with polyurathane. I'd avoid the foam. Most of the brands I've used are toxic and do not hold up to water exposure. And trying to waterproof the foam will usually cause a...
Bulb that comes with the slimline fixture is garbage, but the fixture's good. Go out and get a zoomed 5.0 linear.
I'm not familiar with jacksons, but a wild caught specimen should be examined by a vet to check for parasites and pre-existing problems.
Female, but too young to be digging to lay eggs. I know mine would dig small holes in the substrate when she was young. That was before I met the fine folks on this site.
