Thank you. I may just decide on using a hibiscus for an outside cage, that will be similar and almost identical, to Seeco's. Don't have the money to spend on several lights and then go get a plant that still may not survive lol.
Thanks! I'll check out the website soon and see if I can't...
Whoa duuude!!! He's got some sick colors! I've changed my mind now about you getting an Oustalet's, glad you got a Verrucosus. Don't get me wrong, I love Oustalet's, but your guy just looks remarkable.
Will do, and if so then I'll stick to the crushed egg shells. Really what caught my eye was seeing "Calcium Supplement" and "natural fruit flavors", but I'll check all the ingredients. Keep in mind this is just temporary until I get Repashy.
That would be fine. 5' tall is actually a foot taller than what most keeper's keep there chams in from 4' tall screen cages. And the 5' long is great!!
Grolar Bear. Liger's are just pussycats, I mean I like them more than Grolar Bears, but they are fat and unathletic, at least compared to a regular tiger or lion.
6500K is the color but lights are also labeled as 6500K, 10,000K, etc...
What's your deal. First your post a while back with the random toxicity BS that was uneccessary in that thread, and now this. If you're not going to have something to say that will be helpful, DON'T SAY IT!!
I mean...
Haha, them Araucana eggs are crazy aren't they!?
And thanks, if I can't get white egg shells then I'll just go with one of the other two. That is if the Tums aren't working out for my Veiled. I hope it does though, as it may keep his tummy settled :p
Dang man, I'm sorry to hear that. But I don't think there's anymore that you could do. You did your best which was better than what most couldv'e done for him so he just wasn't meant to make it. R.I.P :(
Yeah I'm sure he'd love that too but I have mixed emotions, as he is quite the roamer, and would be affraid that if I kept my eye off him for too long that he would get into some trouble :p
Cute story about you and your girl :). I had actually never heard the story before.
I know supplements aren't too expensive... but I live 45 minutes away from the nearest place that would sell supplements, and I hardly ever go to that area, and I don't really need anything other than supplements right now so I wouldn't want to just order them and then pay just as much, if not...
Ok thank you for letting me know that the Tums are ok.
Now about the boiled eggs shells...
My dad keeps chickens and we regularly get eggs. Most are the brown eggs, or the green ones from Araucana chickens, and maybe a few white ones, but most of those are the eggs that he wants the...
1st off, congratulations!!
Secondly, I have never bred chams so I don't know from experience and I haven't researched it, yet, but I would think that you would take ALL the eggs, place them on vermiculite, and then set them in the incubator.
Okay so I googled 6500k light bulbs and found what looked like one that would go in a dome fixture, but are there really 6500k bulbs made for dome fixtures? And if so are they legit, as in do they work like a long 6500k bulb in a long light fixture? I think I've heard that having a long light...
Is it ok for chams to have Tums Antacid/Calcium supplement? The
reason I ask is because it is a calcium supplement and contains
natural fruits in the supplement and I would like to know what the
Antacid would do for a cham as far as good or bad. The way I would
administer it would be...

And I hear ya about the bigger, more expensive Dracena. I'm glad to hear that it is only $40, not saying that as if I got money growing off of me and that it's not a lot of...
