If it has been tested and is safe for you, it should be okay for them. If you have concerns with contaminants or mineral build up, distilled or R.O. would be preferable.

We just got some BSFL from Josh's, they were in dark, if that helps at all. The BSFL seem to have more defined segmentation as well, and maybe a little more cream colored.
