Theze builds are always fun :) this is a build i did for a local school teacher 30G bowfront. That plantation soil is not a good grow media, i would run an inch or two of organic topsoil or ABG then top it with the plantation soil. Looks good ;).
I would use it as a supplimental guttload for sure expired or not. As long as its sealed. I also keep all of my suppliments calcium/vitamins bug burger even in dry form in the fridge.
To be honest for you a mistking system for you would be overkill, a dripper running as well as a few daily misting would be sufficient. You could aso do a luke warm shower every other week for 20-40 minutes. Gongrats BTW.
This IMO is the problem with keeping Pardalis breeders not keeping locales as pure as possible. Great looking male but in my humble opinion there is absolutely zero need to cross them, each locale is individually beautiful and should be kept that way.
I however do understand imported females...
Should have continued this onbthe thread you already started. He is acclimating to his new enclosure. If the lights go out and its dark....he is sleeping. Warm the water in the spray bottle up slightly.
Lissa, totally uncalled for. If we choose to bash every young person that asks questions "even stupid ones" where would this hobby be? It only creates a place where you cant get opinions or ask questions. Forum's are for support not bashing.
I have been using Schefflera with my chams for 20 plus years with zero issues, this included a rather large Veiled colony in the 90's. I had no ill effects even when consumed.
Too funny, I had a WC male years ago that would try and get to me every time i went to feed him or clean his enclosure.. After about 6 months he realized he couldnt get to me he so he would walk towards the front of his cage as soon as he saw me coming, as soon as i bent down to clean to...
PVC works really well, they sell a fitting that will plumb directly into the humidifiers outlet, everything is hand fitted for easy removal and cleaning. I drilled holes every 1" and it really creates a nice fog without overly saturating the enclosure.
