Unfortunately these are fragile creatures.. When health issues come up Vets will have you force feeding, treating and handling several times per day.. Will an animal that is already in ill health its usually a down hill slide.. So sorry for your loss..

I use use what is basically the same thing. I use it every time i clean the base of my enclosures as well as plants.. What i use is Chlorhexidine Solution 2% which is a very safe product that is also used by Vets. You can find it on amazon.com.
