Suggestion Hey why don't you consider cutting down the sides a little bit and mounting the light directly to the ceiling. That way he can still climb on the top framing and still be under the lighting and you won't have to waste the time and money you put into that cage.

Screening I have just made a cage as well. I just used regular alum screening. It worked out really well and the holes are very tiny so nothing can escape. I bought a 4ft x25ft screening an it only cost about $27 so now I have plenty left over when I need to make another cage.
