    Hey!

Glas to hear that, disabled people rule! My GF doesn´t actually own a horse but she works and rides on a local "farm" (they only have horses) sice she was 9 (or so :D), so she already does that for about 10 years+. Veileds are great chams for beginners as there are a lot of informations about...

I need som ideas :( and help

That´s a problem but you should be able to solve it :) Just build a cage from wood with 2/3 of one side and the entire top mesh. How are the temps in summer at where you live?

    Hey!

Hello and welcome to the forums :) Nice pictures. I like the fact that you work with disabled kids, i currently work with kids with different disabilities in a school for mentally and physically handicapped children. Also my girlfriend also loves horses and works with them, so i guess we have...

I need som ideas :( and help

I don´t think so. Those Exo Terras are not suited for most chameleons as they really need high ventilation because they have really sensitive lungs and get sick easily. I´d say an adult male veiled should at least have 5ft hight. Why don´t you build a new cage by yourself? That´s nor really...

    Franko the Jackson

Sounds good :) I´d love to see pics of his cage. Make sure to keep humidity high while he´s sehdding but do not spray him directly because this may make the skin stick to his body so it´s harder for him to get rid of it.

    Franko the Jackson

Hello, i just read the previous comments and saw the pictures you added. Does he have shedding problems? I saw him having pieces of skin on his back and in his face in the older pictures. You should really have an eye on this because bacteria and paracites may settle under rests of skin and he...

I need som ideas :( and help

You should really get a cage with at least one side plus the top completly made of mesh. You won´t get proper ventilation with a fan if all the rest is glass. Also i think this cage is not high enough for a adult veiled, at least not for a male.

Madagascar and CITES (legal Parson's, etc. exports?)

I hope so. Hopefully they will be imported by responsable persons who do not just sell them to anybody who pays for it... Do you know if this regulation only affects the USA or Europe, too?

Madagascar and CITES (legal Parson's, etc. exports?)

Will this also affect europe? I also have mixed feeling, don´t know wether it would be good to have much more of them imported even though it would be good to have more succesful breeding colonies, but i fear that many of them will die...

    ***The Official Enclosure Picture Thread***

Very nice size! But why don´t you have more plants and branches in so your cham can actually use all this space in there?

    few questions

I never said i wouldn´t agree ;) Just that i´d like to know how that´s possible. But let´s stop that stupid discussion. I´d recommend to not disturb him at all for a couple of days. As he won´t drink or eat anyway, i´d just leave him alone and do nothing more but misting. I feel like you...

Can i mist during his shedding??????

Maybe you gave him too much water. It´s important to stop dripping when he raises his head. It´s best to provide water in a place he needs to stretch his head downwards in order to drink. This way you can easily see when he raises his head to swallow.

Can i mist during his shedding??????

Also make sure to not hit him with the water when he´s shedding, this may make the skin stick to his body so he´ll get problems with shedding properly.

    chams at college?

    Absolutely agreed :)

    chams at college?

Unfortunately, just keeping them alive is not the same as keeping them properly, dont you think so? And that´s the next problenm as many feeders (crix, locusts) make noise. Are you sure anybody is going to believe that you have a completely equipped cage with a dripper with water in it, a...

    chams at college?

I think that are some selfish suggestions. Ask wether or not you can keep them, if not you´ll need to sell them or find someone to take care of them until you´re back. I can´t imagine you could give them proper care when you need to hide them. How would you hide the huge cages you need for those...

    Updated pics of yourself

women usually simply seem to not like chams with horns or big occipital lobes :D It´s just the same with my gf, she would propably choose exactly the same ones as yours :D

Chameleon digging and laying eggs LIVE!

Doesn´t seem like much has happened. Had to stop watching for a show called "Supertalent" which is kind of like "America´s got talent" :D
