well besides from not eating as much as he used to (which was like 10+ large crickets per day) maybe he just over stuffed himself and needed a break? i dont know. but he moves around just fine, skin dont look dry.

im not exactly sure how old he is but looks to be around 4months. i spray 4+ times a day for almost a minute. and each time i spray i give him a good shower. he can still be dehydrated from that??

can you replace crickets as main feeders with dubias? i was looking at lllreptile and the dubias are pretty pricey...but i do like the fact that they live alot longer than crickets and have no odor and easier to gutload. BUT...its just something about breeding roaches in my house that doesnt...

i read that you're not supposed to feed your cham after 2pm or something like that. why is that? and also just now while i was cleaning the cage bottom, 2 crickets came out and he ate them. and this is already his lights out time. is anything going to happen?

im not sure how much uvb they're supposed to get that's what im worried about. i built my cage and the top has two mesh screens. the inside one sort of hangs a bit loose so that when he's climbing on the top he wont burn himself. is that too much mesh covering the light? if so, can i add another...

can a cham lose their grip because the branch might be too big? and at what point is too big? because everytime i spray the cage he likes to run around but he would always lose his grip but usually catch with his tail. but it only happens after i spray and the whole branch is dripping wet...

but crix should still be the main diet correct?

just ordered 125 4week crix and 250 small silkworms from mulberry farm. i want to breed crix and silks but i do need a few pointers. also how often should i feed him silks? would that make him fat?

and no its not constant. maybe only saw him do it a few times. and i check on him ALOT. :D he's pretty mild towards me. never shows any colors when i handle him and when i put my hand under him, he doesnt really move and just looks at me.

no he doesnt open his mouth or has any saliva. just sometimes when i check up on him he is puffed up. i hope its just to catch more heat. he's pretty healthy otherwise tho. eats like a beast. i dont know about drinking though...neveer actually see him drink but he looks well hydrated. is it ok...

does anyone know why my veiled puffs up his neck sometimes when he's basking. could it be early signs of URI?
