It's been awhile since I've taken any photos of Herbie. Today I came home right around bed time and he was showing the most greens and blues I've seen yet. He was quite sleepy and wasn't impressed by pictures. He just finished a shed the other day and is looking fine :) Thank you Seeco, thank...
Most definitely horses. They are incredibly money draining yet so rewarding. Training a young horse and college can be quite the interesting combination but as long as I get enough sleep then I'm still running around :D
I love the idea of the "cult" or group, whatever you'd like to call it. My understanding which I believe is correct is this has been established for those of us who own, are interested in, or plan to own a chameleon from the Kinyongia genus.
Being relatively new to the genus it was...
I have two chameleons:
Kinyongia Multituberculata Male and a Hoehnelii Male. As long as you can take care of both chams than I don't see why not get another one!
Off topic...but one of my new favorite chams are Mellers. Love the way they look and their size, I saw two in a pet shop (Awful condition and it broke my heart), but they're stunning to see in person. Definitely want one of those when I've the time and space.
Herbie looks almost flourescent at night once he's asleep, his cheeks and crown turn quite blue so I'm wondering how he'll turn out.
And the Hoes...my mom just loves my little guy. He's very shy, once he's out of his cage he enjoys climbing all over and being free ranged. My Hoe just isn't...
He's out of Contango x Abdullah (grandsire) he has a super canter and walk and he's short coupled. His trot is coming along, he's one of those horses that isn't an amazing youngster but with the right training may be a very awesome small tour horse, time will tell.
Glad Bells is ok! At least...
I apologize, I've been quite slow today. Of course he's a Kammers baby. I want something different, seems like everyone wants something blue and the green is so incredibly different. Ok one day after college and in-between my horses I'll email Liddy.
And my dutch is doing very well actually...
Wow I'm super jealous now...they're both stunning but he's so incredibly exotic looking. I love the blue streak and then that lime green!
Where did you get him from? Now I've to make a note on my wish list...green nosy be.
Anne is that a GREEN nosy be?!?! Or am I crazy...which is possible.
Your boys are stunning! You're making me want a Panther...and I can't have one! You're doing such a good job with your guys :D
I know the sacs aren't exactly easy to hatch, during middle school I had a teacher that had a female mantid that laid but her eggs never hatched. Watch the temperature and humidity. Also your female mantid will most likely die soon since she just laid, it always saddens me when they just lay a...
I'm incredibly jealous! I so wanted another one but don't have the time. Your guy looks great, it took me a few months to name my guy. It'll come to you!
Nice looking male you have, you've a Kinyongia Multituberculata or for a full name a Two Horned West Usambara Chameleon but K. Multi for short ;) I've a male as well, looks like your set up is nice. These chams require high humidity and drink a lot so make sure you are misting periodically...
