I play the same game every night I get off work..see how long it takes me to find Roo! And sometimes when I do eventually find him he's sitting there already starin at me like " get the eff out of my face" But he wakes me up in the morning so it's only fair.

My 4 month old veiled ate just about all 15 crickets I put in Viv yesterday but today I put 10 in there to start and it seems he's only ate 2 or 3 and it's time for him to sleep. Does this seem normal? I think the crickets might be a tad to big so that may be why, im going to buy some smaller...

This is the first time I've seen him shed, he started yesterday and when I got off work it was almost completely gone. Now there's just little spots of dead skin. Does that seem normal? I've seen scratching his face and body against the screen of the cage.

I also noticed when I had him out he was a vibrant green, brighter than I've seen. And when he's in his Viv he is more of a greenish brown. Did he just like the free space to roam?

He's wide awake and attentive as can be he's still moving around just in the lower half of his cage. I turned the light off (his UVB is still on) to maybe cool him down and he turned bright green instantly and almost flew to the top of the cage to his chill spot.

My veiled is about 3 4 months old and this Morning I saw him open his mouth and hold it open for a few seconds for the first time (I know this is a way they regulate heat), he was lined up with the thermometer and it was about 87 degrees he's done in about three times in the past 10 minutes...

Not all UVB lights but like certain ones like the coil lights, it's just what I read when I was setting up his cage. And I didn't want to take any chances so I'd thought I'd post on here and ask. I'm def gonna buy a reptisun when it's time to replace the bulb I just couldn't find one

I read recently about how certain UVB lights can be bad for their eyes. So I was wondering has anyone heard anything about 5.0 UVB reptile glo light it's like the long tube one. Thanks

Actually I changed his name (I figured he wouldn't mind to much :p) to Bonnaroo and plan on callin him Roo. So say hi to Roo, plan on seeing and hearing about him alot:)
