Mistking is the way to go. Incredible customer service as well as a very nice setup for your money. Mistking is awesome....no drip nozzles, fine micro spray, adjustable nozzles, quiet pump, easy installation, great timer, and the nozzles are a sleak black look. Basically the system is great...
Nice looking cage. I highly recommend mistking if you want a good mist system. Its supreme and makes it easier. When your ready for the system go to mistking.com
Does anyone know whats' up with Herpmist...I saw there was a post on here about him not responding back to someone and their order being in processing. I too have ordered something from him to and have emailed and called him a number of times with no answer or response. Just trying to figure...
Hello all, I have done some cleaning and remodeling and have some items that I no longer need anymore.
First off I have four reptarium cages that are all only used for about two months..small hole in each cage on top corner where mist system was attached but other than that great condition...
First of all, its best to put your cham outside in either a cage or plant/tree in a pot. I wouldnt let him climb on any tree in fear that he would run away. Unless the tree is really small and your sure you can get him/her out of it and that it's not toxic (check safe plant list). Furthermore...
Cage looks good, the screen does seem to be a little big if your going to free range the crickets. They might be able to get out. But just add some live plants and more branches and that is a good start. Be sure to get the reptisun 5.0 linear tube as well as a houshold bulb for heat.
If you ordered a promist then when that does arrive set it on a good mist schedule and your cham will enjoy it. But for the time being spray his cage real good and you could also try giving him a nice warm shower. As long as there is more white then orange in the urate you should be fine.
Looks good but you still want to be misting in addition to the fogger...The fogger does not provide the appropriate amount of water that the cham needs. As far as the setup it looks good as long as you have a dome lamp for heating and a uvb source of reptisun (10.0) prolly cause the mesh is...
If the top is open completely then crickets will find a way out and it would be better if you made the screen all the way to the top and create some type of door. Other than that this looks like a good start. Just make sure to use atleast one good plant in there to help with humidity.
It is not recommended due to lack of air ventailation. You should look into a full screen enclosure. Although there are a number of people on here from the UK that use glass enclosures with success. So I would talk to some of those members or just go with the safe way which is a screen...
I use one big ficus plant about two to three feet tall and then line the corners with fake fines etc. Fake plants are ok to use as long as they are sturdy and durable, meaning that they do not easily rip off or your cham can suffer impaction. Dont use to much but as long as they have a real...
If your using water from your house and you can drink it then its fine for your chams...most water for the exception of distilled bottled water has some supplements in it like calcium, magnesium etc. but as long as there is not a problem with your water from the faucet you should be fine.
