How long in the shower is too long?

I haven't put F in the shower now for sometime. I would take him out when he had lost interest in drinking, usually about 10 to 15 minutes.

I believe I have read that when using foil, the matte side should be facing the cage.

The platypus is classified as a mammal. It also happens to be an egg layer, btw!

    Uvb

As a generalization, mesh screen will filter about 40-50% of the UVB energy. On average, use of some sort of reflector will just about double the UVB pointed downward versus using a bare tube with no reflector.

I just checked it out. It's a bit scary. About half of the info was wrong, however.

    January '11 Photo Contest

I have been lusting over a 70-180mm Micro-Nikkor or a 200mm Micro Nikkor for some time now. I would have had the 70-180mm a few months ago had I not cheaped out. Been kicking myself ever since!

They go hand in hand quite nicely. Makes a very good excuse to pick up an 100 to 200mm macro lens. You can't blame a cell phone for the angle. My avatar photo (while not being of exceptional quality) was taken with a Droid phone on flash setting, using the lowest resolution with a dirty lens.

Do Chameleons have the ability to show affection to their owners?

I care deeply for my little buddy Feldman, but I harbor no illusions that he feels the same, or feels any emotions, for that matter. It's fun to think that there is an inter-species bond there of some kind, but that seems far-fetched when one considers they don't have a bond between themselves...

I took the center a quick look at some sunrise/sunset times for Antananariyo, the capitol city of Madagascar. It is located approximately in the geographic center of the island. It appears that the longest day is about 13 hours in Summer and the shortest day in Winter runs about 11 hours.

    lighting ?

Forgot to mention: the constant side lighting from a verticaly oriented tube would be hard on your cham's eyes. It would be hard for it to escape the glare of of the unnatural long term direction of the light source.

    lighting ?

I have a light cycle unit and it wasn't quite what I was expecting. When turning on, it goes from off to about 50% and then slowly increases to full output over about 20 minutes. When going off, it slowly decreases to about 50% output then abruptly turns off. The caps are supposed to be...

Can you help me identify this plant?

Rare, maybe, yet not unknown or non existent. It is after allincluded in a book called "Poisonous Plants: ..." There were the other citations which you have ignored. As well as the position of the ASPCA which you dismiss in it's entirety. It seems as though you have become more interested in...
