I agree. I was pretty shocked to see the poor thing in a tiny cage but at least he asked for help instead of stumbling blindly into owning this little thing and hopefully because of it shes in a better environment now.

Okay so your he looks like a she. Check for an extra tow thing on the back feet. If they dont have it, its a girl. And she may be digging because she needs to lay eggs (though she seems to young so it might probably have something to do with the enclosure not being suitable for her)...

Yeah I saw that one the only thing is I didnt understand the whole Class 16, Class 50 thing. Is that how many they are selling at that price? I tried calling but they're closed.

Get a light timer! I just got one and it is really helping mine acclimate. The consistency keeps stress levels down. $6 at Walmart.

Personally, I just use the tap water. I do live in Oregon though which has AMAZING water quaility. Out treatment plant does one extra step at the end and I dont remember what it is called or what is it that they do but I know that since it isnt required most other places dont do it. Id just...

Haha I tried but I got a shit camera for christmas. Its better then nothing though. My boyfriend and I will probably be taking some more soon to enter into the photo contest. He has a much nicer camera. Ill post them here when we do so.

So I got a a light timer for Lennon. Hopefully a stable period of lighting will keep his stress levels down and he'll eat better now. I keep it on from 7 to 7. We'll see in a few days. Got it for 6 bucks at Walmart. Thanks to whoever gave me the Walmart tip.:)

Mine isnt a strict hand feed only but when it comes down to it I think he prefers it. He is more likely to eat the worms I feed him if they're in my hand.

Thats a very interesting concept and if it turns out its not a load of bullshit Id love to hear more... but I've heard too many people saying" Oh god! I forgot to change the light! Now they are dyeing on the floor!" Yeah, wouldnt risk it but its an interesting concept.
