hahaha yeah i had just gotten off work so i wasnt smellin the best at that time lol :p Well he is doing better now that i have backed off him. still hand feeding him everyday but im not handling him. so this seems to be working great.
If you develop a routine, it will learn to associate you with various interaction, feeding, cleaning, misting and will, in it's own time become less concerned with your presence.
Ok u yourself just said come up with a routine to associate me with various interaction. i have a routine and for...
Your making it sound like i am fighting peoples responses. i asked a question, got some answers, and thanked everyone for helping and am now trying everyone advice. so whats with the tone? Before you reply and make yourself sound like a total idiot, read the thread fully instead of one page. I...
well.... u ask for some simple advice and u get a response like this. To respond to this i did buy a book and read many many articles on this forum. I was not handling him to play with him.. he is not fido. I handle him to keep him used to being around people and to show him that he doesnt need...
usually right before he sheds he does get a little grumpy and then as soon as he is done he is back to his old self. Im trying the once to twice a week handling thing to see if that helps. well thank you everyone for your responses.
its just weird that he seems like he always wants to be handled by coming to the cage and climbing on me and such. just seems like the past 2 days he has just gone nuts
hey everyone. well leonidus is about 4 months old now and very healthy. Had him checked up by the vet and she says he 100 percent perfect. I have noticed lately just in the past couple days he has become very aggresive. hissing at me and trying to bite me when i play with him not only in the...
Hey everyone, got a problem on my hands. Well i use a 10 gallon tub for all my crickets cause i buy like 10 dozen at a time. I try to clean it almost everyday by at least wiping it down, but the smell that comes from it is unbearable!!! I know crickets give off that aroma naturally, but i cant...
Hey everyone. Well Leonidus is now big enough where his vines (fake) in his cage are not holding him to much anymore. Im looking at putting a live plant in his enclosure and i saw the live plant database that the site has posted. I was just wondering what all of you are putting in your cages for...
hey everyone, well my veiled cham is now big enough where he is eating med sized crickets and some large sized crickets pretty easily (sometimes). he is about 4 inches long without the tail. What else can i feed him? or should i stick to crickets till he is bigger. also, what is good for him...
yeah the wood is actually burned with a torch. did it for a couple reasons,
1:kills off any mold or bacteria
2: does a pretty decent job sealing it
3: just looks great!
ok good, so i guess he likes me and is comfortable with me. funny how a little reptile like this can actually make you feel needed. as soon as i walk in the room he is walking towards the mesh cause he knows its play time.
hes about 4 inches long without the tail, so i think hes a couple months old. not sure, bought him from a pet store and they didnt know the exact birth date. yeah the cage is def huge for him but i figured it couldnt hurt lol. ill def check that website. thank you!
