OK so it has been mentioned to use a NO VOC paint on a chams cage. So why are people using stain and primer? To my knowledge they do not sell a NO VOC primer or stain yet. Therefore, it would be pointless to use the NO VOC paint over top of the primer because the VOC's can seep through the...

Read that thread. This is what i am currently doing with all my plants. The nematodes only live as long as there is ants, gnats...
I know i am blowing up this food page but i guess i have a lot of questions.:D
http://www.mulberryfarms.com/ I was checking out this site sponsor i see that they are selling these painted lady butterfly's. I know most butterfly's are poisonous but i assume these would be good for a chameleon...
OK, my dubia colony is getting to big for me. If i turn the heat off will they quit reproducing completely or will it just slow them down? Also, how cold can they get before they start to die?
Ive been looking at your link, i have always thought it was extremely dangerous to feed a wild snail to a cham. This is telling me if i let it feed on good greens for a bit it will be ok??? Parasites dont get flushed out do they? Also, i thought wild grass hoppers have harder shells therefore...
I was just wondering how good are supers for chameleons? I have been thinking about buying some but i don't want to get something unhealthy. Also, how hard are they? Will they cause impaction problems? I am feeding a jacksons chameleon who is just over eight months. Extremely picky eater, one...
Just wanted to thank everyone who responded to this thread. I have a feeling i caught my mistake just in time. I was getting concerned because i had noticed an extra fold on my chams neck. Just after a few day break on supplements it has gone away. His colors were always good before but i think...
I noticed you said stay away from spinach and broccoli. Just wondering why?? Romain and lettuce are OK, i imagine ice burg lettuce is no good?? Also, is tomato an OK food for roaches on occasion?
Unless you plan on running short cycles you will need some kind of drain. I have two nozzles and run mine three times a day, twice at 10 mins and one at 5 mins. I can gather a little over a gallon in my drain bucket. I run my cycles a little longer because i do not use a drip system for him to...
I use the mist king seconds timer and love it. Never have i had any problems with it. I took a look at the other one you were talking about and by reading the features it sounds like it does everything that the mist king one does. But personally i think the mist king looks a lot more durable...
Maybe the glare from your eye attracts him. Example, chameleons like to shoot at water droplets. I have one stick i use to use to get my cham out and he started shooting at it for some reason. Ill put it up to him so he can grab on and he lines up and shoots. :)
Ok the mouse being ate is stupid. That person should not own a cham. The jacksons fight i thought was pretty interesting. They look wild, and if their not this in my eyes is not cruel unless it is done all the time. In the wild a cham is going to have confrontations.
I have wondered this myself. I wasn't thinking chocolate covered though. I would like to try mine deep fried. You can deep fry almost anything and it'll taste good!!! :D
Yup! My guy will crawl to his lowest branch and let a leg hang. LOL Its great for us when a cham does this. Makes for easy clean up.:)
Chameleon will poo in the area they want there food. For instance my cham will poo in the front bottom of the cage. He always gets his worms at the front of...
Thanks a lot. I had a suspicion i was over doing the supplements. I am glad i took my gut feeling and asked the forums.
Now my concern is, should i worry about kidney or liver damage now that i have been over doing it for so long? Like i said everything i give him dusted is very lightly...
