Hi, I use two 18 inch reptisun one 5.0 and one 10.0. I use a normal soft white 75 WATT bulb for basking. In the basking area the temps stay around 85 86 degrees. The vines are about 7 to 8 inch from the lights. I hand mist every morning and watch him drink from that regularly. For the rest of...
My jacksons is showing no interest in food. I offer him Crickets, roaches, meal worms, super worms, wax worms, and phoenix worms. He is drinking regularly. He ate one cricket about four to five days ago.
It seems that as the winter gets deeper into the season he eats less and less. :( I...
Hi... i was just wondering what kind of mantis should i feed a jacksons chameleon? I went to mantisplace.com and they have so many different types i don't know which ones i should get.
Thanks
Just wondering If anyone could sell, or help me locate someone that could sell me some of these Northern walking stick insects. I am interested in these because they are legal here in MI and I have a extremely picky eater!
Thanks
Yes i know this but the species that are illegal are the Indian sticks i thought. There are several other species of sticks that are available isn't there?
If there is anyone in Michigan or near Michigan that would be able to sell a fellow chameleon enthusiast some stick bugs it would be appreciated. :)
If you can help me out or steer me in the right direction PM me please.
I have a thing of phoenix worms that i thought was all gone. The container has been sitting in the chameleon room for months now. I was getting rid of things today and realized there were still phoenix worms in this container and lots of flies that have died.
My question, are these worms still...

Yeah i keep a pretty warm apartment in the winter too but, i let it get down to 68 69 degrees F during the night.
I have a feeling for my guy anyway, it is the time of year, his age, and the lack of change in his diet. All having a part of his not wanting to eat attitude.
Thanks for the...
Wow, i have never even thought about looking for insects on eBay.
So i did as you suggested, went to eBay and typed the key word. There are so many different sticks on there. What is a good one for a jacksons?
Well my chameleon is the biggest pain to feed i swear. He is a jacksons and he eats mainly roaches and supers. On occasion he gets silkies, and crickets. My problem is he is sick of all of the bugs he gets. He has been eating very small amounts. He eats every other day, and lately only one bug...
