    Shedding questions

Are you able to give me an approximate on how long it could take just so I don't have to worry. Could it be another week, 2, a month? And he is only about 12 months old. Is that actually considered an older chameleon?

    Tank liners

I was wondering what people use for the bottom of their tanks to stop water from leaking out. My old tank had a plastic liner with it and I got a new one but there aren't liners with the same dimensions. I got a couple ideas I am thinking I doing but I am wondering what other people use/do.

    Paint on dowels

The blow torch sounds like a good idea. Wish I had one to use. So I am not gonna use paint as it seems from what some people say it could lead to an issue. Someone mentioned that they will get moldy. Is that true? I have dowels in a snake tank of mine for climbing. It has humidity in there...

    Paint on dowels

Have you ever tried the green bamboo poles for gardens? They have the different shape. Thy shouldn't mold. I was thinking of using these too but thought dowels would be easier to pin.

    Paint on dowels

I was also wondering what people use to attach the dowels to the metal mesh on the tank. I know some use just pins but are there other techniques people use?

    Paint on dowels

I was gonna build a new enclosure an was planning on using dowels to climb on. Is it ok to spray paint the dowels before hand to make them a greener color like the ficus that will go in? Or could the paint still be bad to have around the cham with all the mositure that will always be in the tank?

I noticed when I stopped at home my cham was gaping his mouth a little and was basking. It was open wider then in the pic but he closed it some when he saw the camera. I know they gap when they are hot. My question is if he was hot why wouldn't he just leave the basking spot? The rest of...

    Help: hurt leg?

I'll try to look t color tomorrow. He doesn't seem to let it dangle anymore. And he uses it some when he walks. Next time I get to see him move in the tank(he still doesn't really do that much) I'll see if he still try's to favor it. When I have him out he uses it a lot but he hates being held...

    Help: hurt leg?

After I took the photos this morning I put him under his basking spot. I came home for a bit about 5 hours later and he was still there. I got him to eat 5 superworms dusted with repashy but he wouldn't take crickets. I then misted his tank more and he climbed down to the middle of his tree...
