    Help with yemen chameleon please

Mine has the same exact thing. It doesn't seem to affect her though. She has had it since she was 4 months old. She still eats and drinks perfectly just like yours. Keep us updated because I am very curious.

is this a norm color for a 3 month old female veiled?

I have a 6-7 month old female veiled. She is pretty much always bright green with some orange stripes and spots. She is about to start digging so she is very stressed and turn very dark when I walk in. I have not noticed any blues yet though.

Can chameleons feel and recognize UVB?

I have noticed lately my cham spends a lot of time under the UVB light instead of the basking spot. So my question is can they tell the difference betweeen UVB and UVA light?

    New Owner, Need Advice!

Put a live plant in your enclosure to start off with. It keeps humidity up and allows for easier drinking.

    Petsmart doing great.

I went to pick up a new UVB bulb today at Petsmart and the lady at the checkout asked what I was using it for and I said I had a veiled chameleon. Well we started talking and they had a baby veiled for sale. I have read on here that the big pet stores across the country do a terrible job of...

    Waxworms, superworms, etc

My cham rarely eats any sort of worm. She doesn't hand feed (trust me, I have tried too many times to count) Should I be concerned she only eats crickets and some beetles I throw in her cage if I find one out in the backyard (I live in a place free of pesticides) Should I just keep a cup in her...

    feeding plants

Chams RARELY will eat fruit. If it is a anything other than a veiled they will probably not even eat any kind of vegetation. All chams are pretty strictly insectivores.

    Just re arranged Stella's cage.

She is very stressed out and adjusting to her new setup. There is much more foliage and hiding places. Is there anyway to help her adjust to it? I don't want her stressed out.

No, chameleons need absolute darkness to sleep.

    Dark Cham.

I put one in this morning. She hasn't showed any signs of carrying eggs. But I put one in today. Is 10 inches tall and a foot in diameter sufficient for now? I need to go look around for a larger one. She is not very big. She is prolly around 4-5 inches not including tail.

    Dark Cham.

She is fine now. I guess she was stressed out being that my friend slept over for a week in the guest room where the cage is. She is back to her normal green.

Too much heat or too cold...

Just a random question I have been thinking about. What is better, being a little too hot or a little too cold? This question is just out of curiosity.
