    Catching stray bunnies?

There was a dwarf rabbit that was wandering around my neighborhood a couple of years ago. He would follow the neighborhood cats around. LOL! Surprisingly, the cats didn't have a problem with him tagging along. I tried and tried to catch him. Every time I'd get close, he'd dart off into the...

    Help with new veiled chameleon!

Yes! Keep the handling to a minimum so the cham can get acquainted with it's new home! They go on hunger strikes when stressed. My cham barely ate for a few days after getting him. I was so worried! I kept checking in on him. I was told to let him get used to his environment and let him have...

    im sad

I'm a new cham owner. I've been hesitant to pipe in. Everyone has been so helpful to me. I know that no one is meaning to hurt your feelings or be mean. They're just trying to help your animal and are trying to get you to give them the proper info. about your chameleon setup and routine in order...

    Sulcata owners?

I love Sulcatas! They have so much personality. :) You are an angel for taking in that tort! It's a shame how people purchase animals on a whim without doing research on them first. :( I hate to see animals suffer.

    Help with new veiled chameleon!

You really need to know the temps inside of the enclosure in order for us to properly answer the question about what to do if the temp isn't adequate. Once you know the temps, we can go from there. If it is concluded that the temps are too cold, you may need a heat bulb with a higher wattage.

    Help with new veiled chameleon!

Also, here's an easy to understand care sheet for veiled chameleons. I'm sure that your cham will adjust after you correct and fine tune it's care regimen. It's also in a new environment. It takes them a while to adjust. They usually start eating and drinking regularly after becoming acquainted...

    Help with new veiled chameleon!

Proper temperature allows chameleons to properly digest food and allows the immune system to function normally. The temperature problem is why your cham is pooping out undigested crickets. Also, you should invest in a humidity gauge and a digital temperature gun so you can accurately monitor...
