Personally I think there are many good reasons to have extra plants in an enclosure, in regards to Veiled chams. Granted, chams do need a good spot to bask and good ventilation is key, and don't forget about cleaning :eek::eek:, but if you think about it in the wild they wouldn't just stand out...

I just read a post by kmakani and it was mentioned his cham has mouth rot. So I'm still fairly new to chams (I've had my veiled for 7 months, first cham) but what EXACTLY is mouth rot and how do chams get it? What can be done to avoid it?
I have to agree with Julirs, you need some real plants because Veileds love to munch on their plants. My Veiled's diet is probably 80% feeders and 20% anything I buy to make his home look nice!:rolleyes:
