Score! I just go to Home Depot cause I have one of their commerical credit cards. The plants and equipment might be going into my chams cage but its "for business" so I write it off.....dont't tell! ;):D
Oh by the way, my Veiled caught a glimpse of himself at about 6.5 months and he showed the color range of an adult, but his colors got deeper over the next few months.
They don't really "show off" their colors. They tend to change with their mood. Not really a seasonal thing either. If they are hunting they might change, if they are scared or stressed they most definitely change. Show a female to a male and he will definitely change, as will she. Show a male...
yea i guess that location does play a big part, sorry! On a bright note, the Home Depot down the road from me actually has Hibiscus on sale for $5!! You should check your local H.D.
I've done it all year with little to no repercussions. I'm sure its not the life their meant for but it works for me. I switch on every other cage cleaning, so every 2 weeks they get switched.

Well I've decide to bring my cham in until the mosquitoes die out alittle. It shouldn't take too long before their numbers go back to regular, granted we don't get another storm anytime soon. Between 10am and say 4pm the mosqitoes aren't real bad but the evenings around here suck, literally.
Are chams susceptible to diseases and viruses delivered via mosquito bites? The reason I ask is I have an outdoor setup for my cham and after all the rain we've had here due to Fay, mosquitoes are crazy right now. I don't want him out during this mosquito malestrom if he could get sick.
I still mix up my little guys diet, wax worms for treats or cage cleaning day, order of hornworms roughly every 2 months, phoenix worms when my fav petstore gets them (not to often  ), the occasional preying mantis or ciccada outta the yard, and his staple of supers. You can use supers as...
