Yeah its mostly a snake place. Terry Phillips is the curator there and he is a big snake guy. But its a 10 minute drive from my house. Its cool none the less. The dome has lots of beardies, water dragons, agamas, and basilisks running around cageless. Pretty neat. And ChameleonRave, you should...
To an extent thats to be expected. Due to the live plants and higher than average humidity it might be a little stagnant. You build a rainforest you smell a rainforest. Make sure you try and circulate the air frequently as you dont want it to be stale.
Just a few miles outside my town just happens to lie the largest reptile zoo in the world. So i get to go whenever I want. Unfortunately they only have one chameleon but it is a Meller's. And they have on display this neat skeleton of a Jackson's. Just thought I would share. :)
Ehh.. Thats steep if you ask me. But I dont know what it comes with I guess. A veiled alone is only like 40 bucks. Also depends on the size of the enclosure.
Montana is getting rain too? I'm from South Dakota and its doing the same here. Hell our capital is flooded cuz the Missouri river. Luckily I live on the west side.
Looks like his casque may be doing the same from that one pic? Could be a burn perhaps. How close are your lights to the basking area. And what are the watts?
Yeah. That's where my little guy was from. I bought a baby though. And god he was tiny. But now he's about 4 and a half to 5 months old and is looking great, besides his attitude. :P
Calcium without D3 on a daily basis. Calcium with D3 should be used twice a month and Multivitamin should be used twice a month.
I just chose a day of the week and give him the Calcium with D3 that day. And then the next week on the same day I give him the multivitamin. And just alternate it.
