back to food I am finding that he likes mealworms and that they are much easier to feed him. At his current age, would 10 meal worms and 2 crickets be a sufficient diet, or is that lacking a proper gut load? Should I be loading meal worms?

I used wood. I would not use chemical treated woods. PVC Screen used for screen doors/porches, hinges, a latch, a waterproof base, a drainage system (base and drainage not pictured)..... thats what I used for:

temporary fix to drainage... icecream container I just picked up a 1 gal jug and poked a small hole in it. It seems like it will drip for a long period of time. by the rate its going, Im guessing over 12 hrs.

I was worried about the cage size being to big for him too, but since he got here an hour ago, I have seen him eat at least 2 of the 7 flies I put in his cage so I think he will be ok as long as I feed him insects that stay at the top edit: make that 4 of the flies. hes hungry from his journey!

I just lifted the cage about a foot or so, the top is just above the top of my head. I know about the rocks, these are just temporary.
