    How many use real plants?

I have a schefflera, pothos, wandering jew, and a parlor palm with my veiled! He LOVES to munch on them, which is why I have a variety. Also.. in my opinion.. he's a real chameleon, why shouldn't he have real plants? And it definitely helps with my humidity!!

    You might be addicted...

Just went to Ikea this past weekend with my boyfriend looking for a new "table" ( a new stand! ) and I was so excited when I saw the plants at the end of the store, I had no idea they were there and all I kept saying was "Ziggy would LOVE this!!" "Remind me to come back here when we do his free...

    How much did you pay?

My 10 month old veiled was only $50 - I picked him up from the breeder. His larger brothers, however, were about $80ish.

    Ziggster

I haven't posted anything about my Ziggy lately, wanted to share a photo! This little punk is eating out of my hand on a regular basis, but we're still working on his comfortability with handling!! He's growing a crap ton, and is becoming ever more aware of his surroundings - he likes to...

These photos are perfect, thank you all so much! Just a few questions - Temp/humidity for dubias? I've got my tub, going out to get egg crates and what not today, then ordering some tomorrow! Also - How often do you clean it? How do you clean it if its crawling with critters? How do you feed...

    I wanna see your feeders!

This is wonderful, thank you! do you keep them in the same room as all your reptilian children? I'm going to have to put them in my garage or green house, due to limited space in my house! Just curious because of the smell, they reeeeeeek when I have about 30 in the cricket keeper! I can't...

    Todays Fiasco.

well, I guess he's comfortable leaving his home now. I went into my room for a bit, so I left his door open and he about RAN to get out! He wasn't exactly pleased with me when I had to rescue him from almost burning himself on his heat lamp. I put him back in his home, and then he turned around...

    I wanna see your feeders!

I desperately despise having to go into a large chain store like Petco or Petsmart to get food for Ziggster. It's expensive, it's a waste because half of the crickets/worms die anyways, and I just don't want to support them! I've been doing research on colonies and keeping large amounts of...

    Todays Fiasco.

Yes! I've been leaving the door open! I read that on someones blog on here.. I want to say Olimpia's. One time I actually forgot about the door, and left for an hour or so and when i came back i found him across the room inside a lamp! hah! We've been hand feeding, as well! and when I open up...

Had to get sir Stardust out of his home today to do some cleaning (its been getting gross, and spot cleaning wasn't doing the trick). Lets just say he was everything but pleased, he was so upset it made me upset! My heart hurt for the guy, he didn't know what was going on! Although I know he...

    Does yours eat his veggies?!

Ziggster gets plenty of water, and I see him drinking it often. He just likes to munch- he also gets a variety of food, I never feed him the exact same thing in a row. (i.e. if I give him crickets one feeding, the next i'll give some type of worm the next, and sometimes i give...

    Does yours eat his veggies?!

all of my plants are non toxic! But I won't have plants much longer if he keeps at it! Just trying to get him to eat the greens I give him, instead of the greens in his home!! Or maybe I'm just gunna have to purchase a schefflera and pothos every few months

    A couple ideas! Please read

I use a bird feeder cup! I just moved the mesh around so I could get the screw through it, and boom, removable feeder cup in a stable position! And it also allows him to always know where his food will be. Not sure I would use an actual bird cage for my guy just yet, but it might be good for...

    Does yours eat his veggies?!

Ziggy LOVES to chomp on his plants… seriously, all of his plants look horrible now! I've read about putting some greens in his dish to get him to eat that instead, but he refuses! My question is, how do you get yours to eat what you give him instead of his plants?! Do I just keep trying by...

    Ziggy went rogue..

I started laughing immediately! And then when I took out the shade, he looked at me like "crap! she found me!" Thanks for the help, friends! I'm still a little perplexed at how he got in there, because when he was running away from me he tried climbing up the poles and just kept sliding back...
